We met for the first time over 12 years ago. We had loads of mutual friends and continued to bump into each other over the years. In 2011 Clare had surgery on her wrist and Mat was working the night shift at the hospital. A very awkward conversation at 5.30am in an elevator, a facebook message and shit shirt party was all it took, we have been together ever since.

 

We have done a lot since getting together those 3 short years ago. Highlights include;

 

• Starting an apprenticeship,

• Starting a university degree,

• Both being students again!!

• Five share houses, one rental and one beautiful place we now call home,

• One fur baby named Chop... the love and bane of our lives!

• A variety of facial hair (or lack thereof) designs - Mat has settled on the 70s porn star moe,

• Two fractured elbows,

• One overseas trip,

• Countless new friends,

• Too many road trips and adventures to count, and

• GETTING ENGAGED!

 

On Christmas Eve 2013, Mat proposed at the same spot we had our first kiss. It was the perfect proposal, nothing over the top, just us…

 

We are so excited to start this next adventure as Mr and Mrs Casey and we’re pumped to spend our special day with you. We feel very blessed to have you in our lives!
